Are they not Indian Gillettes but using the WS name under licence? Only sold in India, (and ebay).

Yeah I asked about this before. They are Gillette using WS name under licence. Not very sharp blades.

well from what I've read/heard about these blades it looks like they're already overpriced.

About 20 years ago, when WS were still based in the UK, Gillette tried to buy them out but the EU put a stop to it as an anti-monopoly measure. The agreement only related to Europe though and Gillette bought the rights to use the WS name in other parts of the world, like India where these blades come from.

Nowadays, of course, Gillette is part of Proctor and Gamble, and WS is part of the Energiser battery empire, a long way from the UK. Sad really - the factory was just up the road from where I live - but that's business I suppose.
