So, guys, what's the most frustrating thing about restoring razors?
Yes, it's fun and it's good to do something creative, but...
Mine today was spending hours thinning, shaping, sanding, polishing some razor scales (green kirinite with a blue kirinite wedge), got a good shape, even curves, brought up to a great shine and they're looking great so time to pin the wedge end. Then, knocking in the little collar inserts and theyre tight so they must be a little bit bigger than my drill bit so tap away with the hammer and split the scales...wrecked. Beer time now...
