Shaving recipe for today.
Prep: Warm shower:/ Original Source ~ Fresh Water Mint & Guarana Shower Gel.
Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving Silvertip Fibre.
Face Lather.
Soap : Monsavon Bol A Raser.
Blade: Lord ~ Silver Star. (1)
Razor: Merkur 37C.
Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Old Spice ~ Bearglove ASL Spray.
Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

It's been a while since i last used the monsavon soap,which is always a great pleasure to use if i was to be put on the spot to choose my favourite shaving soap i've used so far to date, then monsavon would be my choice. It's slick protection and the post shave feel it gives is superb,making each shave i've had with it a enjoyable pleasurable experience.
The Mekur 37c performed wonderfully paired together with a fresh silver star blade,mowing through my stubble with effortless ease. I'm looking forward to the maiden shave of the Parker 55SL Semi-Slant that i recently ordered when it arrives.
It's not to compare with my merkur slants, every razor that i have in my DE razor collection has it's own individual characteristics, which i get shaving pleasure from, if it's aggressive or non-aggressive, 99% of traditional wet shaving IMHO is down to good preparation & technique..However,a good razor & blade match helps immensely too...YMMV.
Another excellent razor & blade duo mowing through my stubble effortlessly.
A wonderfully smooth 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.
Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.
