Greetings,

(Face & Head Shave)

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

It's been a while since I used the Pearlman Shaver's spirit soap is good shaving soap... It's very slick, protective with a fresh mild masculine fragrance which lingers throughout the shave and beyond creating a wonderful lather in a short space of time leaving a good post shave feel too.

Another close comfortable efficient combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

P.S. I would like to thank all the members of TSR for the birthday wishes that where posted to me yesterday.(y)

I have just received the Jupiter from the pass-around here:

Preshave - Pears Transparent Soap (Blue)
Razor - Reggie's Razors Jupiter
Blade - Shark SS
Brush - Highlander TSR LE Walnut and Boar
Lather - Lea
Splash - Brut

First shave with the Jupiter. Not what I expected. I expected something very mild and very smooth. Probably not to my liking. It was actually much more efficient than I expected. I got the angle wrong on the very first stroke inside my goatee, and drew a little blood. My mistake. It shaved really well. A near as dammit BBS 2 pass shave with no irritation and minimal sting from the splash.

This could be fun... A good start!

Blade - Kai Captain Protouch MG
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Barts Balm Ben Macdui
A/S - Avon Shaving Brush "Wild Country"

Its always a pleasant experience to use an AC razor, the Hawk is a great little razor, very comfortable and easily efficient enough for me.
I finished my bottle of Barts Macdui today, never mind, onto the next one.
Enjoy your day all.

Razor - EJ89 3D Diamond
Blade - Gillette Nacet
Brush - Simpsons Captain
Lather - Trumpers Spanish Leather

I put the Nacet into the EJ today as the Timor didn’t do. It went OK… good results with two passes and almost no touch-ups. But it felt a bit rougher and didn’t go quite as well as my current faves. I didn’t get that “wow… that shave went gangbusters” (whatever that means).

… also a bit miffed that my new brush didn’t turn up in time for today’s shave… watch this space…

Brush: C&H 'Bone Lilly' V23
Soap: B&M Fougere Angelique
Razor: ER 1912
Blade: GEM PTFE
Post: Thayers Rose

Today's aim, use something from Maggards, either their own Soaps or something done specifically for them (Fougere Angelique/DG Convergence). Luckily I had this in the back pocket from a previous random order from maggards. Sadly no splash though, damn health and safety, so what if it sets a light or explodes when in transit. I want my damn splash!

Odd pic I know, part of the Photo hunt 'Eyes', I was trying to link it in some way to the soap. So this tenuous link is brought to you by one of the apparently biblical description of what an angel is supposed to look like...oddly bloomin terrifying if this bugger popped out at you.

Hope everyone is having a good one!

Cheers

Marc
