How's the nocturne?

Very similar in smell to darkfall ( declaration ) & roam ( Barrister & Mann ) but then also its own character Marc. I would suggest getting it as it’s a limited / seasonal release. Perfect for this weather. But I don’t think the smell is for everyone mate. J.

Nice one, cheers for that man, Roam was one I had wanted to try as well to be fair.

That one is true YMMV. I didn't liked it at all. It smelled like ham that got spoiled that one is one of the rare onest that I didn't even lathered once.

Truly a chalk and cheese (or rotten ham) effort. Curious as to what in it could be perceived so differently. On paper it sounds pretty much up my street with tobacco and leather, perhaps not the grass mind.

I'll end up with it at some point and hopefully don't regret it!

Interesting, I can get with the smoke but if there's ham overtones that would be a tad off putting.

I've seen a good number of them end up on various BST's so there's certainly something divisive!

These arrived today from Connaught, as always top drawer service.
I had already brought the blades for the Genesis razor before I knew about the hack but if these give me 3 good shaves per blade I won't mind at all.
The Gem blades I have noticed are marked differently on the blade compared to my ones that came in a plastic dispenser. So I will be popping one into my Sabre today just to see if they are indeed different or just a different batch.

Tallow based & produced by Tcheon Fung Sing. Really cheap. looking forward to trying this and the free Shark blades thrown in. Smells v similar to Razorock Tuscan Oud - which I love - but with a bit of bubblegum thrown in too. This is right up my street scent wise. Thanks @pjgh for the suggestion back in Aug when I’d just joined the forum.

Love the design & aesthetics of this Razorine Flatboy. and had to purchase…especially as comes with 2 handles. It will be last razor I buy for a while as have accumulated a lot, rapidly, in 12 mths…This feels great in the hand, excited to see how it shaves.

As you can see I have marked out the differences. They are sold as the same blade so could just be a new change in design. I will know once I start shaving with it and get to about shave 3 and 4.
