School for Scoundrels 1960. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0054279/ If you haven't seen this brilliant comedy, then you really should. Ian Carmichael, Terry Thomas and the incomparable Alistair Sim.

Watched "No Escape".
This movie was a complete surprise as I had some hesitations watching an action/thriller with Owen Wilson but, man, this movie kept you at the edge of your seat!
Pierce Brosnan was excellent. I'd say it's a 7.5/10. Great action and thrill throughout!

Mad Max Fury Road

Wacky Races meets the big screen - quite possibly the most action packed film I think I may have ever seen - forget the story, 2 hour long movie and about 15 mins of that doesn't involve total and utter carnage.

Must admit, I really enjoyed it.

Kingsman, : Secret Service - loved it as much as every other Matthew Vaughn (& Jane Goldman) project. My type of film, Colin Firth and Taran Egerton were brilliant. Can't wait until the sequel next year.

Fantastic Four - wasn't fussed on watching this reboot, as I really didn't see much wrong with the former films. I was right too, the other films were MUCH better. You can see how many issues there were between the producers and the director. The re-shoots that the studio ordered were REALLY visible. A waste of many millions of dollars!

It's on my list. Another action film Owen Wilson is good in is Behind Enemy Lines. The film doesn't try too hard to avoid any tropes but it zips along at a fair old pace and there's some good action scenes.

My latest watch was....

Under The Skin - Very good but very bleak and there's stuff in there I won't forget for a long time. If you have the patience for a willfully enigmatic slow burn then I'd recommend it.

I picked up 'The Girl' Trilogy at the supermarket ... The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo who Played With Fire and then Kicked the Hornet's Nest. All the Swedish versions. In preparation, I watch the Daniel Craig version which is a good film, but I think the Swedish version of Tattoo is far gritter. I've not seen the other two and I'm presently enjoying the second one, looking forward to the third. Both Nyqvist and Rapace just feel right for their roles.
