Holiday/Travel Kit

Big Bruce
Mix pack of blades
MWF
A nearly finished stub of palmolive stick

It is nice to keep it simple for a few weeks.

The Palmolive (an old foe of mine for scent but a warrior of performance) has shone on this trip. Dealing with non-potable, extremely hard water, the MWF has struggled but the palmolive stick has not missed a beat.

I have confirmed a trick with MWF however which I will post separately about.

This is the first fortnight in 8 years where I have totally ignored work emails. Just fantastic.

I like it compact.
The Tech and four blades fit inside the 35mm cartridge box.

Just spent two and bit weeks in Mallorca Spain and as we were checking bags I took few extras but still pretty much travelling light, my final choices were:

Pre shave: Small pot of Proraso green
Razors: Merkur 45C and General Alu
Blades: A pack of Polsilver Stainless, 1 x Kai Luffy and 1 x Feather Pro Guard
Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington stick plus the Wilkinson Sword Shaving cream I picked up in Mallorca (Muller)
Brushes: Simpson's Chubby 2 Synthetic and Omega Boar travel brush
Post shave: Alum block and Thayer's Cucumber witch hazel
AS: Alcolado Glacial and various AS lotions I took in small sample bottles with matching EDT

Very pleased with my choices the Chubby and the D.R.Harris soap produced copious amounts of excellent lather.

Travel kit has been on my mind for a few days
We're off the Majorca for 4 nights in October, and the Mrs wants us to travel with hand luggage only to save hanging around at the carousel for luggage after the flights.
As you're not allowed razor blades in cabin luggage, I guess I'll have to take a disposable of some kind.
I might invest in some Gillette Guard's or similar for the trip.
I usually pack a shave stick and some aftershave decanted in to a small plastic travel cosmetics bottle.

Assuming it is the same/similar throughout Spain, last time I looked on holiday in Spain, they sold I believe it was a pack of 10 Personna DE blades
