What are you listening to?

@TomG great call on Sparklehorse. Huge fan, especially of the debut album and this epic:

I saw them live in 2003 on my birthday and got a setlist at the end. I am still gutted that Mark took his own life. He left us some great music. Here is a heartwarming interview with his brother

For some reason the way Mark sings “At sunrise the monkeys will fly, And leave me with pennies in my eyes” always makes me smile, as do a lot of his lyrics

The wonderful, wonderful Roland Kirk. One of the best acts I ever saw live. After the baritone intro he comes in playing three saxophones at once - yes guys, three saxophones at once, or maybe manzellos or stritches or whatever arcane stuff he used to pick up. Not only that but it's great music.

@dave79 - great call on 'Cow'. I would've loved to have seen them live. And I was also gutted when I heard the tragic suicide news. I always chuckle when I hear '850 Double Pumper Holley' from the debut album. Thanks for the link to the interview - I hadn't seen it.
