Just had an Email to say that my 'Startup' Gunmetal shade Rockwell is on its way. (it's the 100 free Rockwell blades which really get the juices going, of course) !

lots of plating loss, a massive crack in the handle (not visible in the above photo) and a missing blade case, but it's cased and the teeth are all straight. Thanks to Mr Razor I think it's a 20's 'Brownie' set, although the lining is a different colour to the example on his site.
It's a simple process to repair the handle, I did it following a guys example on the Internet. All you need is some 8mm brass tubing, epoxy resin, finegrit sandpaper, wooden spring clothes pegs, 2 g-clamps and about 15 - 30 mins.

I have a threaded handle can it be repaired? It's only a cheapy.

Well you could try filling with epoxy then re drill and tap.
I also saw a guy on YouTube use superglue and bicarbonate of soda to make a hard compound that he could file down... Otherwise.... I'm not sure....
Are you sure it's the female part of the thread that's gone not the male part?
Both good ideas. Yes the thread in the brass handle has gone. I may have a play with it. I was thinking chemical metal and drill and tap. Then again it's a cheapy.
