The quick answer is considerably more, the 7 o'clock open comb (at least the head) is identical to the Gillette 'New'. Gillette in any event owned the brand.
I think they are very good shavers indeed; for me way superior to the Tech but it is purely a question of what you like, what you get on with, and what you are used to using.
