Any blades you won't buy again?

Personna Reds (Israel) - not sharp enough
Astra SPs - random blade life
Gillette Rubies - tuggy
Lord Platinum - tuggy

It quiet funny that I actually like the Treet carbon blades

YMMV as usual
I hated the Rubies and considered ditching them until I tried them in a 40s Tech. A match made in heaven. My slants and German razors hated them though.

SuperMax Blue Diamond = SuperMax Blue Death! No like Feathers either: aye they're sharp but by 'eck they're darn harsh with it. Some of the Egyptian blades ain't bad but given that Russian blades like Rapira Swedes and Sputniks are so ruddy cheap these days, I rather buy the Ruskies. Astra SP, harsh and nae guid for me. Derby, no words required....

BiC Chrome - rough as a badgers ar5e
Personna Chrome - blunt & tuggy
Gillette 365 - rough and blunt!
Derby - inconsistent

And many others that are good blades but just not special enough

Yes, it most certainly is as the four you dislike are IMO some of the best modern blades extant. What are you using for prep, glue? :D

Actually bitumen and depleted uranium shavings :D

Being serious for a second, my favourites are pretty mainstream:

Sputnik
Lab blues
Perma-sharp
Vintage Wilkies
PSI

I actually checked out the reviews here and elsewhere before jumping in with purchases , so relatively speaking I probably haven't experienced a truly crap blade, just those less good for me

Not really had any terrible blades (yet), but there's a few I'm not keen or didn't live up to expectations:

Big Ben - Sharp, but a bit scratchy
Bolzano Superinox - OK, but tugged a little
Derby - Meh, just too mild for me
Personna med preps - Super smooth, but no real 'bite'. Lasted well, and did give a good shave though

Everything else I've tried so far has been good, and I've still got a stash of untried tucks to try, including some very cheap Chinese and Indian ones - I'm sure there will be some horrors among them :)
