Best but simple coffee

I use an aeropress at home but found this bad boy on eBay for work. Quickly does a filter coffee using a permanent dual layer mesh filter. Easy to rinse and only two parts.

I've also used paper disposable filter pouches which also work quite well but take longer as the pouch needs to be filled with water several times.

These are much more convenient.
The caftieere is built into the mug.

Our Nespresso does well for our needs.

After years of going down the coffee rabbit hole, up to looking at the weather forecast to check wind direction for the coffee roaster fumes, and killing more than one Gaggia Classic, I got a Nespresso machine.

Really happy with it, consistent, easy access to a load of different coffees, I usually have 7-8 on the go, and a couple of different ones for the next rota. My main core is the 5 Lungos, and have one decaf in the rack.

I haven't bothered with compatibles, but did toy with the idea of getting the re-usable stainless steel pods, and refilling myself, but that defeats the advantages.

Cheers, John

Yep, I thought about these but how do you handle adding the milk? Do you have to take it apart?
No.

With the mug, you put your coffe in the mug, then add water, and place the cafetiere plunger bit on top. Let it brew as normal, then press the plunger. Add milk as you usually would.

It's slightly more difficult with the Bodum mug as you have to add the milk through the drinking spout after plunging. Perfectly doable though.

I drink my coffee black so not a problem for me.[emoji3]

I use a drip filter which is quick and easy. I use a moka pot if I want a more intense flavour. I know the coffee pods taste good but the environmental cost is quite heavy

I have used Nespresso for years having first been served it on Concorde, (if you're going to drop a name,..make it a good one:))....Never been disappointed,...compatible pods are a waste of time and money,...35p for a perfect coffee every time,...why bother?....
Just got the Vertuo machine runnng alongside a Creatista, now can serve all types of coffee.
Sometimes get the old stovetop espresso pot out for old times sake.
