I'm looking for something from 1978 if anyone can help?

I've seen an American SS but would prefer something British, when did we stop making DE razors?

Matt
The Mr-Razor has quite a few on their eBay shop, they've got mine, a W3 black handled adjustable, but I can't pull the trigger on a 50€ razor. (item number: 380272364971)
Especially since they have the same ones form different years that are not "Buy it now" and are at 1,50€ a piece..

They've got a NOS Gillette SuperSpeed from 1978 if you're interested.. (complete in box and all)

I'm not giving up, I'm just not ready to hand over that sort of money for it.

Would I be right in thinking December '64 would be J4 ??

What would be a recommended DE razor for December '64 ??

A Gillette Slim Adjustable would be a good choice, I shave with a J3 on a regular basis and they are a good razor. And you can still pick them up for a fair price, I'm sure Sunbury (Steve) has one in his Aladdin's cave he can part with for the right wonga........

Ok I have to admit to this..................... I have bought a 1967 M1 slim adjustable as I stupidly mistook April as being in the 1st quarter. What a plonker Rodney!I'll see how it shaves and how easy it would be to now get an M2 before I decide to let it go....
