Can you name anything that youngsters of today won't know?

That attitude is exactly why the smoking ban came in, too many of you taking the approach of I enjoy it screw you if it bothers you.
No Chris, I'm a Capitalist and a Libertarian. If a business owner chooses to allow smoking on his private property, it his right. I stopped smoking 30 years ago, but I still maintain that if you don't want to go into a bar or pub where people smoke, find another bar or pub that agrees with your sentiments. It is not the government's place to dictate policy, nor is it a right for a non-smoker to go into any pub or bar and expect the owner to kow-tow to them. :)

Unfortunately there were no non-smoking pubs until the ban. I'm all for liberties however how your pleasure affects others needs to be taking into account. For example, I like Rammstein, and I like loud music. If you lived next door and didn't like German industrial metal you'd probably not be too happy about having it thumping through your wall. By your rationale however no-one's forcing you to stay in and listen to it, so I can play it as loud as I like and if you don't like it go out.

Different cultures, different generations. Never the twain shall meet.
