My interest went down with each season until I stopped watching.
It was a good looking show though.

Sounds like the 6th book's got a tentative finishing up and vague release date. From what I understand the HBO series often has some different things going on than with some character lines being typed by the author.

I have lots of time to reacquaint myself with the last book I read in that series.

Yes, it is definitely the best episode of the season. Nevertheless, I tend to think that the show souldn't stretch to more than 2 additional seasons.
