Injector Blades

The reason that I ask is that the illustration on one of the Feather injector blade packs appears to show a guarded blade:

I am not going to open it at this moment in time, if ever :) ...

Looks like a vintage twin injector blade.

Call it heresy, but I cannot really tell that much difference between the modern "Chick" blades and the vintage Schick Plus Platinum "Golden Age" blades on my face when using a top tier soap. For all we know they are using the same "recipe" yet today if not improved somewhat. I think we are damned lucky to have such a fantastic modern injector blade that is so readily available & cheap for the shaves produced. Just my two cents.

Which bit makes you think they are twin blades?

If you zoom in on it you can clearly see the 2 layers. Moreover the top layer doesn't extend to the edge of the blade.

It typically looks like a twin blade drawn from an angle.

I may be wrong but that s my opinion.

Fair enough. It's just that Google Translate doesn't seem to hint at twin blades.
Only one way to find out for sure... :D
