L'Occitane Cade Shaving soap Discontinued!

I found a lot stock in three different shops.
I assume it is not being diaxontinued.
They were waiting for refills.
Btw there is a trick with discontinued soaps just for more profit.
I also think they might lower the production to see how their soaps go.

Interesting how differently L'Occitane operates in different markets. The obvious explanation would be that the shaving soap didn't sell well enough in the UK?

You could very well be correct...I think perhaps the cream was more popular..also..I believe there were a few reformulations of the soap. The present quality (as I understand it) is very good and the version I used was also a very good performing soap..but many complained that early versions were poor quality and did not lather well.

Now I know I did the right thing when I bought the aluminium bowl and three pucks (all brand-new).
I find the soap as good as, or better than many hard soaps, but now I suppose I'll have to be more stingy with it.
When I said "stingy", I meant it!

I've got about 2/3 through one puck, with two as yet untouched.

There is, of course, a very good explanation for the low rate of usage; namely, a lot of other nice soaps like Wickham, Nanny's, OSP (to name but a few) have caught my eye and opened my wallet in the interim.

Sorry for the zombie thread resurrection...

Cade soap is available on what looks like the Slovenian L'Occitane site for €12.20 euros plus delivery, but I can't see any international delivery option...

I'm sure someone cleverer than me will be able to sort a work-around
