Ming Shi Unscrew 3000S

Seems like a MIC interpretation of a Slim? I came across some ok pictures of the razor here. Through the meat grinder which is Google Translate it might suggest it is a bit milder than the Futur clone with a slightly smaller head as well.

Like Cristobal it's not the best looking razor but I'm also impatient to buy it.

Come on Aliexpress! Get it in stock!

What happened with the Greek column design adjustable?

I assume you are talking about the Parthenon, which so far has seemed to have received mixed reviews, leaning towards negative from what I have seen. Mark over at "Friendship Shaving" seemed a big fan, others I have seen complained about clogging issues and being way too aggressive and uncomfortable even on the lowest settings.

As for this Ming Shi, interesting to see what they can do, now they aren't just copying an expired patent :D

Not for me. Bought 2 Ming Shi 2000s and never use them. To be fair not used anything except the Rockwell 6c since I bought it. The Rockwell seems to have cured my RAD.

The Ming Shi 'Unscrew 3000S' is available on AliExpress.

Perhaps the easiest way to find it is to search for -- faroot adjustable razor

Yes, not very promising, but neither is the product title -- Adjustable Double Edge Shaving Safety Razor Shaver Blades Zinc Alloy Chrome Hot New Razor Father's Day Gift For Dad

Nowhere on the product page is 'Ming Shi' or '3000S' mentioned, but an individual on a French shaving forum recently received one on February 7th and it appears to be it. Curiously, he didn't describe how it performed (yet). His photos show that the UPC for the razor is 6927002718129, but a search for that doesn't bring up anything.

Someone was selling them on eBay, but they're not currently listed. They were supposedly charging twice the AliExpress price.

You can also find it with a search for -- 名士男士剃须刀手动刮胡刀新款旋开式可调节锋利度刮胡刀架配双面刀片剃须双面刀架 -- and search on the page, though it probably won't be as easy to purchase from what appears to be an AliExpress competitor (for Chinese consumers). While this is found on Ming Shi's consumer page (aka Guangzhou Mingshi Shoudao Co., Ltd. or Guangzhou Mingshi Sword Co., Ltd, who don't appear to have a dedicated corporate website), they claim that Baume & Mercier (in the title of the product, but better known as a Swiss luxury watchmaker) 'has focused on the professional manufacturing and technological innovation of razors, and has taken the real needs of consumers as the research and development direction, which has driven the development of the entire razor industry.' Undoubtedly a different Baume & Mercier...

In any case, it's odd that Gillette still finds it profitable to make almost 20 safety razor blades worldwide, but doesn't find it worthwhile to reissue (and/or revise) their original safety razor designs. I'd think they'd be happy to have a customer no matter what product line they purchase.

After translating a few reviews, you might want to hold off on purchasing one of these razors. One Russian reviewer preferred the Ming Shi 2000S over the 3000S, while another reviewer (I think) compared the performance of it's '9' setting to a Merkur Futur on '2' or a Rockwell 6S/6C on '6'. (I don't know if such a comparison is an accurate assessment.)

I may very well be misunderstanding these translations, but if you already have safety razors that are suitable for your needs, you might want to wait until other English reviewers can better express how they perform (though I guess that's supposed to be someone on this forum :/). I ordered this very affordable adjustable razor, but ended up cancelling it, since I prefer more aggressive razors.

Fine Detective work there @Nonex, it's work like this that'll get you a promotion on the force.

You'll be commissioner in no time.

I myself do enjoy using milder razors and this particular adjustable might be more of my thing than the Mingshi Futur clone which I found a touch unwieldy (shaving under the nose) and a bit too aggressive.
