My quest for my perfect DE Razor blade.

At the moment Polsilver are efficient and forgiving esp with my Rockwell 6C on setting4. I have recently purchased Supermax Blue Diamond - the platinum and the titanium versions.. I find these sharp when using my Rockwell on setting 4 and lots of nicks. I may try with my Edwin Jagger DE89 as it's not very aggressive. I have been using King of Shaves pre shave oils. They have been quite protective compared with Executive Shave pre shave oil and Wickhams pre shave soap. The Wickhams smells great but the others are not so protective for me personally. I will try both versions of the Supermax blades with my Gillette Slim on settings 3,4 and 5. The Greek Shaver has a couple of interesting You Tube videos featuring the Supermax Titanium and Platinum. He gets on fine with them and you may too but they are quite lethal in my new Parker 94R heavyweight razor. I need to try milder blades soon with this one. Kensurfs has a video where he uses Supermax stainless I believe. Guys like this and Kevyshaves of Dundee seem to be seasoned and skilled shavers - I have only come back to DE shaving since March 2018 so I'm still not all that and get a lot of Nicks. Had a nice surprise after buying Palmolive shave cream from Wilkinsons £2.00 for a 100ml tube and it was creamy and real nice post shave feel. It's not quite as thick as e.g Uncle Jon's shave asoaps or Katies Bubbles but what a bargain for a budget shave for beginners and old hands
