Why not join the forum? We have plenty of members there who have little to no technical knowledge (I was one when I joined), and we have a learner's zone where you can ask questions or check previously-answered ones.

Aprs.fi is an interesting site, lots of radio amateur interested in the weather, they post their weather data on that site, just look for WX and that's a weather station

Some of his footage is utterly stunning. He's very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and, for me, has a way of explaining these matters concisely and without patronising the viewer.
