Out of production

Would you or any of our knowledgeable
Members know if it's possible to get some
Of these blades today, and if so , where
They can be purchased (Gillette Bleue Extra)

They are long gone. Check Ebay, but prices are astronomic usually. I have used them and other old NOS blades, but IMO some of today's Gillette blades are just as good and far cheaper when inflation is factored in.

You're absolutely right and I am 100%
In agreement with what you're saying
But I was just gonna grab a couple of
Them ,since I've never seen one in the
Flesh it was just going to be a kool experience.

I have just under 100 of these wonderful blades and they are one of the best blades I've been lucky enough to use. :) P.
Someone sent me a couple in the early days of the forum. An epiphany! I pulled the trigger on about 400+. I'm 57 now, hundreds of SB's and Thins. They will see me out, lol. It was money well spent.

I found it here also, but unfortunately they only deliver to metropolitan France and Corsica.

Sorry to burst your bubble, the ones I have are the pre-2000 variety. Out of production. They came in boxes of 100. I've tried both. The vintage ones are compatible with Swedes. The newer ones were good, but not nearly as fine. The older ones come in a plastic tuck where the used blades can be stored.

I have used the pre 2000 French ones and countless other Gillette Platinum varieties and to be frank I think the current ones are just as good if not a tad better. There is more mythology surrounding old blades than global warming IMO.

I have some of the old GSB's and Platinums, those along with vintage Wilkies are in my opinion the best blades I have and fortunately I have a few of each stored away ;)

The vintage wikies! I remember trawling round independant pharmacies. A shaving Indiana Jones lol. Got a few. Sublime! Sadly gone. Swedes, vintage Willie's and pre 200 Gillette Bleue Extra have been the finest. I've tried an awful lot of blades.
In my very humble opinion.
