Razor manufacturer identification

Hi everyone.
I've just received my first straight razor, and I'd love to know more about it. I've googled the engraving, and all I can find is a couple of similar razors for sale, but nothing in the manufacturer.
The blade has “Crown and Castle” engraved, along with a crest depicting those things, and “Extra hollow ground razor” underneath. Also “made and ground in Germany”.
It's clearly old, and came in a similarly old box (apparently it cost 10/6). I'm guesssing it's had a handle replaced since the others for sale online all have more decorative handles.
Can anyone shed any light on it please? Possibly even a rough date of manufacture?

I Would Hazard a Guess...Late 20s or Probably 30s...Almost Certainly 1st & 2nd War Inter War Productions...Scales Look Original to Me..Seen a Number Like that...

I'd found that thread, but missed the part where they said “I've never seen a makers mark”. Huh. You never know, I'll keep looking.
