The scent of most soaps don't last longer than the shave itself. I've found that creams have some of the strongest scents and can last for a full 3 minutes after you've finished shaving! (Though that could be just the residue from my shaving towel that gets washed every three months).
It means you either have a dog's sense of smell, or you should get a job smelling people's armpits to judge the effectiveness of deodorants. @Nishy is the only one I know on the forum who can boast this kind of scent sensitivity.
This is the most strength scent I have among my soaps. It was a surprise after have been reading about lot on this artisan brand and his former adventures and Hurlyburly style. It's performance is second to none, so I'm in love with it. I love a lot of soaps though.
Here's my list of strong scents in the soaps I have, all of which are personal favourites:
Grooming Dept. Magnolia
Grooming Dept. Yuzu
LPL Oud Santal
Boellis 1924 Chiaia
Tallow and Steel Madagascar
Wholly Kaw King of Oud
Wholly Kaw Merchant of Tobacco
Via Barberia Herbae
I don't find any of the UK artisans to be as strong as the above. I'd call Wickhams, Eufros, Pannacrema and SV medium strength, which is a shame because their scents are top tier.
To throw another one in there (along with the awesome UK artisans mentioned above), we have just had delivery of Faena - the scent on this latest batch is much stronger, Esperia is especially 'orangy' this time!
Another Stirling soap, the spice scent of Hot Apple Cider lasts for ages. I can remember smelling it on my pillow when I went to bed 14 hours after I shaved, but if you're sensitive to cinnamon the it'll tingle
