Wednesday AM 2019-10-16 National Fossil Day

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Elite Razor Polo Speckled Amber Manchurian White (28/54), the closest thing to a fossil other than myself
Harrods by Floris shaving soap (tallow)
Paradigm II Titanium
Personna Super Platinum Chrome (5)
Col. Conk Almond aftershave balm

National Fossil Day reminds me of spending weekends in the 1950s with my grandparents, who lived across the street from the L.A. County Museum of Natural History where my grandpa was a security guard. He let me into the museum on Sundays when it was closed, so that I could sit and sketch the fossilized skeletons of the woolly mammoth and sabre-toothed cats. And he always shaved with his 1940s Super Speed before we walked over there.

Another late SOTD

Lea Sensitive Cream
Maggard 24mm Synthetic
Game Changer 0.84-P
Gillette Platinum (2)
Arctic Kinesia ASL

My first time using Lea Cream, and I must say I was very impressed with it's all-round performance. From protection and glide to post shave feel it was very good indeed.
I picked it up in a Poundland Dealz shop here in Spain for only €1.50 for a large 150gm tube, so it really was a bargain.

@Digimonkey . Thanks for the heads up.
I also found Lea Cream for €1.50, Lea Sticks for €1.25 and Floid Vigoroso for €4.95 per 150ml at Mercadona. I'll stock up before we leave for sure.
They had Brumell aftershave at €8.95 a bottle, but I didn't have a sniff.

Well in the world of “morning scents” there is nothing that quite equals the arrival of a new day like the smell of a fresh pot of coffee brewing. It means I woke up on the right side of the grass! So when I was reading the description of CBL Breakfast Blend I knew it was going to be a winner for me! It so very much is!

I recently picked A&E Cafe au Lait with the matching AS and love the combo. Besides slapping on a shot of expresso (thanks Chris for the suggestion) I was a bit stumped for an AS match. Trolling around one of my favourite venders I spotted an AS that would work Declaration Grooming Scrumtrulescent which is a wonderful blend of coffee and chocolate! Man, they aren't kidding what an incredible scent! Now I have to track that soap down. But I digress....

What an incredible soap and AS combo! CBL soaps are fantastic and this is no different, great slickness and lather with a fresh coffee forward scent. The AS is a fantastic topper. Got through a wonderful two pass shave and back on the road we go. Hours later, sipping my coffee in the car and that wonderful coffee and chocolate scent still lingers.

Thanks Chris for making another winner and sharing it with all of us!

Pre-shave: Nivea Sensitive Face Wash / Proraso White pre-shave cream
Brush: Stirling Soap Company Finest Badger
Soap/Cream: P&B Imperial Rum soap
Razor/Blade: Rockwell 6c R4 / Gillette Nacet
Post-shave: Thayers Cucumber / Xtro Mare aftershave / Bart's Balm Lavender aftershave lotion

My first use of P&B products and they did not disappoint. Quite a thirsty soap but once you have it nailed it provides some of the finest quality! A rich and smooth with great slickness. Up there with the best!

A lovely fresh and clean scent.
