Greetings,

Another very in-expensive shave set up, the Weishi 9306-I /Dorco Titan blade duo & erasmic soap was a sublime trio rewarding me with a wonderful relaxing 3 pass + pick ups sunday shave with no errors to report.Every shave that i've had with the weishi 9306-I razor since i've started to use again have been very comfortable, and has paired up with every excellently with all the blades i've matched it up with.

The Erasmic shaving soap provided good performing lather in a short space of time leaving a nice post shave feeling..A great shave, from a very humble shave set up.What more can i ask for.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling like a 'real ladies man'.;)

The scent of this soap is exactly what the doctor ordered on this wet and windy Sunday morning, and was rounded off nicely with the equally warming aroma of the Pashana.
Happy Shaving one and all.

It would appear that Rocnel takes Derbys as well as Feathers and I tried out this combination this morning. It resulted in a very smooth and pleasurable shave.

This is the first time I've been able to have a good shave with a Derby and am happy to have found a blade other than the Feather that fits it. [emoji846]

Brush: SOC Mixie
Soap: Valobra Puck (Cologne)
Razor: Schick Krona
Blade: Kai
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel (Peach)

First outing for the Schick Krona, which I recently snagged on BST. Terrific shave, lovely surprise - intuitive, easy, close, head & face shave. Warm's the cockles of my heart when a purchase exceeds expectations.

Prep: Hot Shower & the Boss's exfoliation thingy. Dove for men moisturising face wash.
Pre: Hot Flannel
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood, face lathered
Brush: MÜHLE Vivo black fibre
SR: Merkur 23c
Blade: Polsilver (4)
Post: Nivea sensitive balm
Cologne: Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey

Started off great, face lathering the TOBS resulted in a lovely rich lather and a wonderful aroma injection.

First pass WTG went well, 2nd pass XTG the razor felt like it was dragging a little and lo and behold I picked up a nick. I should have called it a day there and then, but the brush still had plenty of soap loaded into it, and I thought it'd be a shame to waste it, so I went for an ATG pass. Schoolboy error. Picked up a couple more nicks and a fair bit of irritation. Not the smoothest finish either. The nicks weren't too bad and mostly stopped weeping after a cold water rinse.

So the Polsilver is toast after 3 shaves. To be fair the third one was ploughing through the remnants of my goatee so that might have killed it a bit quicker than normal, but to keep the enjoyment factor high, if I use a Polsilver again, it will only be for 3 shaves.

So I've loaded up a Feather for my next shave.

Have a great Sunday everyone!
