Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...After the comfortable shaves i had with the dorco st300 blades, i've carried on using the dorco titan blade another smooth non-aggressive blade that matched up with the efficient parker Variant wonderfully, resulting in a 3 pass silky smooth shave with no errors to report..The dorco titan blade isn't the sharpest, but it's smooth works well with my more aggressive razors. Out of all the dorco de blades, my personal favourite is the dorco prime platinium, like it's other two siblings they are a wonderfully smooth blades, very forgiving and slightly sharper and match up well with all DE razors i've paired them up with.

My recent re-introduction of the williams mug soap has strengthened my fondness for it with every use. Once bloomed in hot water for ten minutes, rubbing the puck directly into my stubble 'like a shave stick ' it provides a lather which is slick protective, leaving a wonderful post shave feeling to my face.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of aloe vera gel.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy the start of the weekend, ladies & gentlemen.

Morning shave

PAA Dapper Doc's
M&F 3XL Blonde Badger
Pils
Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (2)
Humphreys Witch Hazel
Diptyque Philosykos EDP

That's eleven shaves with the Pils now and it's fair to say that I love this razor. Three leisurely and extremely comfortable passes for BB smooth. I do like the fact that after years of twiddling my thumbs and looking anxiously at my watch, it's me who now gets the hurry up on a Saturday morning. Have a great weekend gents.

Squadron Red Lead
YaqI 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Rockwell 6C R4
Vintage Schick blade (1)
Floid Mentolado Vigoroso AS

A fine shave without fault.
My first time using a vintage Schick blade, kindly gifted by @TomG.
Very smooth and sharp. Audible feedback was greater than with other blades in the 6C, which I quite liked.
The YaqI Tuxedo didn't do as good a job as my RazoRock 400 with this Squadron soap -horses for courses I guess.

Thanks again to @TomG for giving me the opportunity to use this soap and blades.

Enjoy your weekend and be safe if you are travelling

This is a very mild little razor but as my last shave was only about 15 hours ago with the Cobra, it was up to the job.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Thanks PF. I must admit to pinching some of your ideas. Today's shave was as good as any I've had in the 5 or 6 weeks since I started DE shaving. It's nice to use more expensive stuff, if budgets allow, but you can get a damn good shave without busting the bank. And the Aloe Vera makes for a lovely post shave.
