Bowl: My recycled cream bowl
Razor: The Sledgehammer (Merkur 39C)

The rose cream is nice, whips ups to nice lather making for a smooth shave. All in all, it was a nice start to the day. Unfortunately, Sunday means the last shave of the weekend. Enjoy it while it lasts ... .

A step back in time for me this evening. I liked the idea of using the 1st shaving cream I got when I stepped into the light and started DE shaving. The Executive Shaving Company Natural cream is always a delight to use. The scent is fresh as soon as the lid is removed. Looking pearl-like in colour in the tub the pine scent is perfect for this time of year. It takes a surprising amount of water whilst lathering and you are rewarded with a rich creamy lather that provides nice razor glide and lovely slickness.

As to my razor I thought it was time to give the Rockwell 6c a day off. This gives me near on perfect shaves every time but you need to mix things up every so often. The Gillette Fatboy was sitting quietly in my den so it was called to duty. Pairing it up with my favourite blade the Gillette Green.

A 3 pass shave went by without incident. The Fatboy is a lovely shaver but not quite on the same level as the Rockwell. A DFS though not perfect BBS.

Finishing up with the Extro aftershave and Barts Balm has me ready for the week ahead.

Have a great evening folks. [emoji1303]
