Another sample used tonight - Taylor of Old Bond Street Peppermint shaving cream. Thank you yet again Rob @Blackmass.

I returned to my favourite blade tonight - the Gillette 7 O'clock Super Stainless (Green). This really suits my skin and goes superbly well with my Rockwell 6c on plate R3. It just seems to click.

The sample of TOBS peppermint cream had a scent which was almost good enough to eat. Absolutely mint. No other words needed. It felt really fresh when applied and was simple to lather up. A good slick feel and nice cushion between blade and skin.

A 3 pass shave went without incident with no need for pickups.

Finishing off with Thayers then a good splash of Nivea 2 Phase. A nice fresh nip that was gone in seconds. With my face feeling so fresh and minty I decided to finish off with a good splattering of LEA balm. Lovely and fresh which finished things off nicely. BBS and smiling.

I've decided I'm keeping away from Feather blades. My shave on Sunday night was at the opposite end of the spectrum compared to tonight. I'm now satisfied that it's the blade that just doesn't suit my skin.

Another lesson learned.

Have a great night folks! [emoji1303]

Tuesday 20th November

Squadron Red Lead
RazoRock 400
Rockwell 6C R4
Vintage Schick blade (7) ((and counting))
Lynx Dark Temptation Aftershave

The Schick blade is still going strong and not showing signs of dulling at all, perhaps a little smoother than the previous use.
Red Lead is a pleasure to use. I don't think it could be improved on. ( @TomG )
