I'm continually impressed with the Gillette Old. An efficient little performer and still in great condition; as it's easily my oldest razor. Paired well with the Rubie; although on balance, I think I prefer the Nacet. I have a bunch of NOS blades that I must try.

Still loving Salter's hard tallow soap, with its subtle lavender hue and smashin' post shave feel.

Prep:
Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch (Tallow)
Razor: Schick Injector Type L3 Grip
Blade: Schick Injector (3)
Post: DR Harris Pink splash /Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

A beautiful shave. The DR Harris H3 (28mm knot) is my softest badger brush, and I love it. It has just the right density for me, providing enough backbone whilst still having cloud-like softness and good flow-through. It combined with the Haslinger soap to whip up loads of tallowy goodness.
I have really enjoyed trying out the Schick Injectors. They are super-comfortable and nimble razors, and I feel would make ideal daily drivers. I'm more of a "every other day" shaver, and love to get to BBS, and thus prefer something a little more efficient.

Olive Oil Soap
Barrister and Mann Seville (sample)
Omega 11137 Boar
Little Wren Pottery
Merkur 37c
Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Thayers Witch Hazel (unscented)
Fine American Blend Aftershave
YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme EDT

A thoroughly enjoyable shave. The soap sample was sent to me by a nice Norwegian gent on the other forum and it produced an excellent lather. Cushioning and very slick. I will certainly be buying myself a tub. Part of the reason why the lather was so good was the performance of the Omega brush. Loads of backbone but small enough to be precise when working on the soap pressed in to the bowl. The perfect brush for the job. It was sent to me by my friend Kevin (@Boru62). Not only did he buy it for me but he took the time, using the fridge method, to break it in. You're a star mate, thank you. Have a good day chaps.

Prep ~ Shower, Valbora Glycerlanolina soap
Razor~ Cobra Classic
Blade ~ Schick Proline P-30
Soap ~ Klar Kabinett
Brush ~ YaQi Moka Express 26mm Two Band Badger
Scuttle ~ Giles Shaving
Post ~ Thayers Rose petal
Scent ~ Roses Vanille - Mancera , Paris

What a shave! My new Moka Express brush was a joy to use, the handle is large but easy to hold and it easily whipped up a wonderful lather from the Klar Kabinett with its delicate rose scent which afforded me all the slick protection I needed for a shave with the Cobra.
With no effot it mowed down my stubble in a short space of time, two passes and a little clean up and I was as smooth as I require.....BB smooth.
Finnishing with a splash of Thayers Rose petal and job done. :)
A few sprays of Roses Vanille from Mancera and I was smelling as good as I looked.
I would be happy to take this set up on a two week break and use it every day, just perfect. :)

Wishing you all a wonderful day.....P.

Prep: The usual shower
Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Soap: Soap Commander - Fortitude
Brush: Yaqi 24m synthetic
Post: Humphrey's Witchhazel & Bulldog After Shave Balm

When one is in need of a mild shave to let the skin heal from abuse, the Tech delivers. I love the soap commander soap, the scent is just great.
A good shave and a good start into the day.

RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
Cyril Salter Solid soap
Schick I1
Schick Twin- Japan [ 12 ]
Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion

Having had less than satisfactory Shaves over the last couple of days, with Razors fitted with blades at their optimum , today was good. Nice to have a smooth and comfortable shave, and be rewarded with a good close all round finish.
This compact Razor would be ideal for those wishing to try a Twin blade but are not keen on long handle Razors, they are relatively cheap and available on the web.

Prep: Shower
Razor: GEM OCMM
Blade: PAL Super Carbon
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Synthetic
Soap: DR Harris Windsor
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDT: Le 3e Homme de Caron

This brush arrived yesterday (8 days from China) the knot is 57mm X 26mm and it has a rather large glue bump of 10mm making the effective loft 47mm. I choose this brush because the few reviews that I could find suggested it splayed easily and it does. I need to use it a bit more before passing full judgment but it does feel nice, a smaller glue bump would have allowed more flex of the knot which for me would have been a little better. The handle is for my taste rather heavy and thick but this knot was available with no other handle.

Regards
Dick.
