Sotd-26-2(1).jpg

Sotd - this evening - the 26th of February

Razor - Colonial General alu - on ES ss handle
blade - Proline (5)
soap - Salter tallow
brush - Simpsons Case pure badger
post - witch hazel
a/s - Mantiales de La Toja
balm - La Toja Neutro Care.

Result - six days growth coming off without incident -

A proper mix and match shave - featuring - apart from the General - things not picked up and used for ages. A side-effect of having all my shaving porn stored in the one place for the first time - products neglected - under the sink - at the back of cupboards - in different rooms - no longer. All there to see - and choose from - excellent. The brush - Simpsons pure badger? - nice handle and diminutive knot but the best I can say is - the exfoliaition is very good. An enjoyable shave - that not withstanding - enjoy yours gentlemen - one and all - I.

Myrsol Agua Di LImon AS

With the temperature rising I broke out the Dark Limes soap. It did it's job very well which allowed the fresh Silver Blue to remove two days growth with ease.
Finished with Myrsol Lemon and Eternity Summer.

A couple of days away in Liverpool and home again with the travel shaving kit. A shaving stick and the Edwin Jagger travel brush provided a reliably good thick lather with very little effort and seemingly any type of water. This time I took the MÜHLE R89 to accompany them with a Feather blade which is still passable on its fifth shave! The Clinique aftershave balm is light and excellent for travel as it comes in a plastic container with a screw top. Great break in Liverpool and great shaves as well.
