Jayaruh No 67
De Vergulde Hand
Supply V1 with a V2- 3 dot plate
Schick Proline [ 5 ]
Pitralon Polar A/S lotion

As I found out that it took me forever to get a half decent Shave with the V1 Supply on a 3dot plate , I contacted Supply
and got a revised V2- 3 dot plate. Perhaps not a perfect match, but it works and there is some blade feel. However for me the Razor is too mild, and though I can get a passable Shave, I think to get a really close one I would need to take a lot of time.Am sure that it works well for those with lighter growth than mine.

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Plisson 14 Horn (23/57)
XPEC Original shaving cream (first Forester Milan version)
Weber PH/UFO Titan Fine
Gillette Platinum 'Swede' (12)
Aramis Tuscany aftershave

I had been concerned about how the vintage Plisson would perform in comparison to my Rooney Finests, but it is holding its own quite nicely. The fragrance of the XPEC Original, like that of Martin de Candre, seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it factor, and I love it, which surprises me because I did not like the similar Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet. The cream makes fantastic lather, second to none. The Tuscany aftershave is one the most soothing I have used. Another great shave.

Yaqi with a Maggard's 24mm Badger/Boar reknot
Gillette 'Old Type' Razor with a BIC Chrome Platinum Blade

OK.....I have this big box and it has travelled everywhere I have moved to over the years,I have some 'stuff' and keep adding. Last night I dug a little deeper and discovered some things I had completely forgotten about. Tonight is the turn of the Gillette 'Old Type'. Despite being damaged....it gave a wonderful shave:)

Greetings,

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with errors to report.

It's been a while since i last used the proraso Eucalyptus & menthol soap, part of my job is working with steel coating engineers, the soap along with another tub was kindly passed on to me by one of them, while he was working in Italy, he bought twelve tubs while working there..As always the proraso soap provided a excellent lather, and a nice post shave feeling to my face, however it's slickness is sometimes hit & miss for me, but i can cure that by adding a few drops of glycerin to the tub which improves the slickness wonderfully.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling fresh super smooth, & smelling devine.
