Mon 28th Jan

Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2 Band
Cyril Salter Solid soap
PAA Starling/ Windrose Handle
Gem S/S [ 3 ]
MyrsolAntesol A/S Lotion

My second use of the Starling SE, and though there was a good amount of blade feel, whisker removal was slow. The Shave was not particularly smooth or comfortable, and though a passable Shave was attained, it was not of the same quality that I get with most of my Vintage SE Razors.

Soap: Arko (not cooling at all)
Brush: Semogue SOC 2band finest badger (a robust favourite)
Blade: Gold Dollar 208 (nice shaver)

The Gold Dollar takes and holds a great edge after initial Dremel-work is done to fix shortcomings and when at it removing logo on blade.
