Pre shave: Warm shower and Bulldog face wash + Noxzema shave cream
Razor: O.R.E.N.
Blade: Feather Pro Super (#3)
Soap: OSP Bay Rum
Bowl: Korium
Brush: Simpson Commodore X3 best
Post shave: Alum block, cold water splash and Thayers witch hazel
AS: Lab Series balm

After finding the Feather Super Pro worked so well in the Blackland Vector, I decided to try the blade in the O.R.E.N. The result was excellent, not as good as the Vector but very close. While the O.R.E.N. is much better than its predecessor the head is big and shaving under the nose takes a bit of practice.

Can't believe you waited so long to use Sanskrit! Such a beautiful scented top performing soap, my first and my all time favourite P&B soap.

Another good shave tonight, a good one but not as good as last time. Still a DFS.

The Proline blade is on its 7th outing and I think it's nearing the end of its useable life. I'm curious to find out the average shaves others get out of SE blades (though I understand YMMV)?

The OSP cream performed well but did seem a bit dry. I think I was a tad reluctant to give it too much water and I regretted it towards the end of my shave.

Again I managed to get BBS with only 2 passes. Adjusting my shaving angle has worked wonders and so much more stubble comes off with each stroke. I'm able to take much longer strokes too.

Finishing off with Bart's Rosemary and Sandalwood balm finished things off nicely though I may add a quick splash of Floid later on....just cos!

Have a great night folks! [emoji1303]

RazoRock Syn 24mm
Williams Mug soap
Gem Jnr 1912 - brass ,
Gem S/S ( 4 )
Massimo Dutti A/S lotion

I normally get a good Shave with this Razor, but it just did not happen. Judging by this Shave and two previous ones, the blade must have got damaged over the weekend while in my Travelling kit .At least no problems or bloodshed, just a rubbish Shave.

Prep: Face wash with Pears soap
Pre: Proraso Sensitive preshave
Brush: Avon Men Care synthetic
Lather: Arko stick
Razor: Rockwell 6C (R3)
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Post: Cold Water rinse / Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel
ASL: Duru Lemon
Moisture: Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel

Carelessly nicked my chin but it didn't spoil a decent 2 pass (WTG & ATG) shave.
The Avon brush sucks - nice and soft but knot is poorly finished and shedding like crazy - but it's no great surprise as it only cost £2.50.

Have a good evening.

Cheers
Steve

SOTD Tuesday 29 January 2019 :)

Pre-shave: Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap, followed by cold water splash and Castle Forbes Pre-shave.
Cream: Martin de Candre Fouger.
Brush: Shavemac ' The Flat Top' Slivertip.
Bowl: NA = Face lather.
Razor: Blackland Vector.
Blade: Kai Captain (Pink) Mild (9).
Post: OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol splash, followed by Ibiza Aloe - Aloe Vera gel and a decent splash of Floid Vigoroso.

A superb 2 pass shave; I am enjoying the Vector, very smooth and efficient; as ever YMMV :)

The Shavemac Flat Top, was a Christmas purchase, from the Gentleman's Groom Room - a very nice brush.

The OSP tingle, was one of those where my skin told me I had a great shave, the Ibiza Aloe Gel felt like liquid silk.

I hope everyone is well.

All the best,

Chris
