The LEA cream always delivers a good result. I particularly like the way the cooling menthol builds gradually. And the Push Button also came up good with a close, smooth finish.
Hoping yours are as good.....

I'm a fan of Eau Sauvage too. I love the EdT: lemony, sparkly and yet somehow animalic. The EdP (clear ribbed bottle, olive green contents), is a sillage monster (on me, anyway). The myrrh gives a lovely resinous, powdery dry down once the citrusy bergamot and grassy vetiver yield a bit.

Thank you - the parfum version sounds lovely - right up my alley. I can feel a quick visit to allbeauty.com coming on.... cheers - I.

Schick N1
Schick Proline [ 7 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Really noticed how much smaller the Razor head is compared with the Mongoose/ATT SE1. However, fitted with a Proline blade it may need more passes but it still delivers a first class Shave,
and I find it to work superbly around the upper lip. Just glad I am not going out tonight having
cancelled training for my group because of the lousy weather.

Barts Balm Lavender Aftershave & Caron Pour un Homme EDT

Retired the blade after 10 very good shaves, starting to wane a bit so time for a change. A very nice lavender shave today, my first use of the Barts aftershave and I enjoyed the smell but didn't like how oily it was and how long the oil lingered before it dried in. Made clean up a bit messier, I suppose given the ingredients it's to be expected. I enjoyed the scent though.

No more balms for me until autumn time, except the odd splash of La Toja or Myrsol in the Summer.

I find just two pumps worth of Bart's aftershave lotion is enough to do my whole face and find it sinks in quickly, any more than two pumps and it's too much for me. Saying that, all our skin types are going to be different so it's very much YMMV :) I have to agree the scent is wonderful. P.

Converted a friend to wet shaving today....

After a couple of years of mythering my best friend; he has finally borrowed some kit to give it a go. His starting line up tonight was:

Razor - Gillette Tech, 1952 Ball End.
Blade - Wilkinson Sword (1)
Brush - Omega boar (dont know the model)
Cream - GSCC, Original.

Gave him a crash course in basic technique & then buggered off. He reports that it is was ok. Not too many weepers, and a reasonably smooth shave. Dead proud of him.

I reassured him that should he keeps on practicing; he will attain advanced status as in this video

I will try it again, I did two pumps, I didn't use a balm so next time I will try some BBA with it to see if that helps. It felt and smelled lovely but a wee bit oily for my tastes.
