First time with the Igor and I tried it on mid setting.
It's a very audible razor and has quite a bit of blade feel even on mid setting. Both helped me find and maintain the ideal angle.
When rinsing whilst shaving it needs a few shakes, as the head holds a lot of water, possibly even more than a 1924.
I'm very impressed indeed and it never ceases to amaze me just how talented some members of these forums are.
If this was for sale or a Kick Starter project I'd be all over it.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney Emillion 2 Tiger Stripe Finest (26/54)
Penhaligon's Castile shaving cream (vintage)
RazoRock Mamba/Stork EX3 Titanium
Personna Super Platinum Chrome (11)
Penhaligon's Castile aftershave (vintage)

This Emillion has a relatively soft backbone, although not floppy, so it is ideal for creams. And the Castile is probably the best cream I have ever used.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + Bulldog face wash and Proraso white
Razor: GEM Junior
Blade: GEM SS (#7) with rubber band shim
Brush: Proraso Boar
Soap: L'Occitane
Bowl: Korium
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Bulldog balm

Found a nice size rubber band that came with a new USB charging cable, it seems a perfect fit. The GEM Junior is only part way through restoration, it is really hard to get at the underside, but I could not wait to try it so gave it a go today.

I must admit, I've never felt the need to shim a blade for my 1912s. It's difficult, for me, to see how it would improve the results I get each time. I only shimmed once, with a 1914; as the Gem was a bit loose. It didn't provide a result anything like an unshimmed Gem with a 1912, 1924 etc. Still, mileage and all that.

...yes I think you may be right...still new to the 1912 and enjoying experimenting...

Simple face wash
Edwin Jagger DE89
Pol Silver blade
The Personal Barber synthetic brush
C.O Bigelow shaving cream
Bart's Balm Bergamot and Vanilla aftershave balm

A mixed shave this morning, I forgot to go xtg under the chin and went straight atg causing some discomfort. Applied the Bart's Balm afterwards and has soothed it now.

The scent bus growing on me since I got it the other day. Smells much better once it has been on the skin for a short period.
