SOTD: Saturday 5th January 2019 - Friday 11th January 2019

Tues 8th Jan.

Vulfix 404 mixed
P & B Spitfire
PAL S/S Adjustable
Schick S/S -Japan [ 2 ]
P & B Spitfire A/S Splash

Since getting another rotation in the form of AC/SE Razors, i have perhaps neglected this PAL which is probably IMHO
one of the best single blade Injectors that I have. If I wanted a really trouble free close Shave this was the one for me, as it is both smooth and efficient.
Today I was not in a rush and by taking time and care , was able to get the kind of quality finish that rivals those I get with an AC/SE. Of course one has to have one whose adjustment works properly, I have ended up with one duffer. The new to me A/S splash feels and smells nice after application.

8 January

PreShave: Warm water
Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled cream bowl
Razor: The Sledgehammer (Merkur 39C)
Blade Sputnik (1)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: None—a work day

Trying out the blades I bought last year—this time with a Sputnik. Felt smooth, left me with no nicks. A fine shave. Reminds me of a Nacet (coincidence?, I doubt it). I'll see what tomorrow's second use brings.

Have a good evening folks, ... .

Date: 09 January 2019

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush:- Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger 27/50mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Stirling ~ Executive Man
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Razor/Blade:- Rockwell Model T #4 / Gillette Nacet #1
Post-shave:- Thayers Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil / Lucky Tiger Aftershave & Face Tonic
Fragrance:- Davidoff Cool Water Wave

Keep in mind guys, way too early for me to give a review of the Model T until I've given more shaves and more time.

Here's photo below showing you the blade loaded into the Model T, as you can see at each end there's no blade overhang and the hardest part is when I shave across the grain under the nose is not good.
I have to shave against the grain under my nose which is not my best part of shaving, the Model T head is too big I mean is to curve or round going with the grain under the nose is not very good.

RazoRock 400 Plissoft Noir
La Toja Stick
Rockwell 6C R4
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave
Mr Perfume Neroli Portafino

Two days growth easily removed without mishap.
The fibres of my RazoRock 400 are nowhere near as soft as those of my YaqI brushes, it feels scratchy in comparison. I think YaqI's lather a little faster too.
