Tried some of this shaving oil I found in a washbag as a pre-shave, to see if it will improve the shaves I get with this razor, it did a little but I think this razor is going to be listed on the BST tonight, it is a lovely razor and does give a good shave but I prefer several others to it, which is a shame due to its rarity.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Baum.be pre-shave gel
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Soap: Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica
Razor: UFO Goliath / ATT SE1
Blade: Schick Proline P-30 (3)
Post: Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica Balm

A wonderful and very close shave. The lather from the SV soap was delightful, and the scent is really nice. Clean, crisp with a bit of zip.
Three passes and a couple of buffs for BBS. The matching SV balm also proved a winner - very soothing and with good scent strength.

Seems like ages since I used a fresh blade,and I was glad of a change.I was not particularly keen on the Kai mild pink blade that had been in this Razor, and am glad I only brought 1 pack.
The fact that the blade was new did not affect the Shave,which was smooth and comfortable with a nice close finish. Am wondering what the Minigoose will be like, this is the new Razor created to take Injector blades. I will have to hang on till some kind soul organises a pass around:)
