WOW, I love the smell of Ariana & Evans Asian Plum is not very strong or overpowering scent and it smells very relaxing kinda like a Chocolate Spice Plum pudding to my nose, I didn't know the soap has Goats Milk and the soap has given my face a wonderful soft smooth and excellent post shave feel.

Paradigm Titanium II
Polsilver (2)
Brad Sears DFS LE
Declaration Grooming TSN Fouge̕re

The Maiden voyage of my very own Paradigm and a wonderful shave ensued. Smooth, efficient and perfectly balanced. Worth the wait. Love it!

The Brad Sears brush continues to impress. I noticed the tips felt crusty when dry. Looking closely the tips are already starting to hook. It whipped up a fantastic lather and a joy to apply.

The Declaration Grooming soap performed brilliantly. The lather was easy to create and stable too. It can take some water, which is a good job as I tend to be a little heavy handed. The slickness and post shave face feel is top draw. The scent is nice, not overpowering but present throughout.
The matching aftershave has gone right to the top of my favourite post shave products. It has a lovely powdery scent which hung around.

A fantastic shave which left me stroking my……face.

Wednesday 11th July

Pears Glycerine Soap
Proraso Sandalwood Pre Shave Cream
TOBS Sandalwood Soap
Omega 10098 Boar Brush
Steve Woodhead Suribachi Bowl
Q-Shave Futur Clone (3.5, 4.5, 5.5) with a Treet Silver Carbon Steel Blade
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
GFT Sandalwood Skin Food
TOBS Sandalwood Cologne
Javanol (Molecule 04) EDP

A few firsts today. Many thanks to Kevin ( @Boru62 ) for supplying a sample of TOBS Sandalwood Soap. The TOBS version of Sandalwood has be be one of my favourite Sandalwood scents. This was also the first use of the Suribachi bowl. I bought it over a year ago but never used it. To be honest the suribachi pattern looks brutal and I had concerns about brush wear and tear.......but it can certainly produce a lather! I have quite a few more shaves left from the sample provided....but for my own peace of mind.....I will only use brushes which are cheap and easily replaceable. The Q-Shave is new and performs as well as the Ming Shi....it just looks cool in Black!

Three passes for a lovely smooth and fragrant shave. Time to get in a few beers and a chilled out evening:)

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney 3/3 Ivory Finest (26/60)
Mohawk Brush Company shaving soap (tallow)
Charcoal Goods Brass Level 1/Triad Aristocrat Brass
Personna Super Stainless (3)
Yardley English Lavender aftershave (vintage)

The Mohawk soap, which has lost all its fragrance, made moderately rich and slick lather, good but not great. The puck is quite narrow, and it bounced around in the bottom of the mug, so I ended up holding it in my hand to load the brush.

You could break in a stiff boar brush with that bowl, five uses I recon! :

My first use of a Myrsol aftershave and I'm impressed, yet another very good Spanish product.
It leaves the skin feeling toned and has a nice touch of menthol.
I chose the soap as a show of empathy with the England fans awaiting kick-off.
Happy Shaving one and all.

YaqI Chianti 24mm Synthetic
Meissner TremonIa Dark Limes
Rockwell 6C R3
Astra SP (1)
Lime Lavender & Peppermint witch hazel
Quorum Aftershave

Just what the Doctor ordered after a hot and sticky day at work.
Dark Limes soap did fantastic job, slickness and protection in equal measure.
A fresh Astra in the Rockwell at setting 3 hits the spot for me every time. Smooth and sharp without fault.
Finished with an adequate dousing with Quorum - svelte and fragrant once more. . .
