L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm

Greetings,

Recently i've been re-introducing shaving products that i've shamefully forgot i've had, the arko hydrate cream is a great value shaving cream, you only need a small amount to create a excllent lather, which doesn't dissipate, or dry out when applied to your face.

Last outing of the Indian made Supermax Diamond Platinum blade, which performed great excellently with every shave this week, paired together with my merkur 34C fraulein today resulted in another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few dollops of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Saponificio Varesino Two-band High Mountain Manchurian White Badger
Soap: APR Fenchurch
Razor:Schick Krona
Blade: Vintage NOS Schick Plus Platinum (1)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave
Scent: APR Fenchurch EdP

Chalk and Cheese comparing this shave to the last, thanks to a blade change out. Clearly the last blade was a dud. I loaded the Krona razor with one of the Schick blades designed for it back in the early '70s and a favourite of mine - the Plus Platinum. A lovely comfortable three pass shave ensued, made all the more pleasurable by the wonderful lather and scent of APR Fenchurch.

Tabac
RazoRock 400 Plissoft Noir
Rockwell 6C plate 4
Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Quorum Aftershave

A nice relaxing shave after a stressful day at work. It's that time of year when I am asked to travel further afield to support other colleagues to get them up to speed.
Huddersfield is fair trot from my home in the East Midlands and the traffic wasn't on my side so I didn't get to my first call until almost 9.30.
I did my quota of 10 calls and got the hell out of town and arrived home at decent time at least.

A nice hot bath with Wright's Coal Tar Soap precede the main event.
I chose Tabac for my shave as I find it's scent relaxing, almost like aromatherapy - it worked a treat, as did the Rockwell/Silver Blue combo.
Quorum to finish, and I was unwound and at peace once more.
