Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Yaqi ~ Sagrada Familia.

Face Lather.

Soap : Derby Shave Stick .

Blade: Derby Premium .(4)

Frakenrazor: Yaqi DOC Head / Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Benjamins ~ Mentholated Bay Rum Splash.

Palmers ~ Cocoa Butter Formula 24 hour moisture.

Last use of the derby premium blade, which has restored my faith slightly in Derby blades with each of my shaves this week. I'm still slightly reluctant to add a derby extra to my blade rotation however, i have a puck left in my shaving den so i will give them another try in future shaves.

The derby premium i will use again with no hesitation in my future SOTD set ups. A very impressive blade.

The frankenrazor/ derby premium blade & shave stick duo performance was superb, resulting in another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Palmers ~ Cocoa Butter Formula 24 hour moisture, ideal for the winter elements.A very comfortable enjoyable sublime shave.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.

As a nod to St Valentine.....I just HAD to use the MLS Panty Dropper!

The 1924 is a razor I have had for some time but with very little use as the Original travel handle was just too short and slippery. Yesterday's arrival of some 2BA 3/8 grub screws has allowed me to do something about it. The extra heft and grip of the Ikon Tuckaway has transformed the razor.Shaves now approach those obtained by my Streamline...it is a joy to use! The shave passed the Alum test and my face is absolutely Bowling Ball Smooth:)

Seygus Zeppelin - gap usage:

This is the last time I use the Zeppelin with 0.9 mm gap - it is just a bit too aggressive for me.
For me the 0.7 mm gap is just right.
