A nice end to this weeks Shaves, with a fresh blade on board and a new tub of Spitfire broached , the Shave was smooth and comfortable, with a satisfyingly close all round finish. I could settle for this as a Daily Shaver, if I did not have to justify the purchase of the others I have brought. I probably would get bored using the same Razor, and to think I used a Gillette ? year after year, before I fell foul of Cartridge Razors. Thankfully I have recovered from the use of the latter, but have strayed from DE world into SE/ Injector Land

A great shave with the Feather razor this morning. Two full WTG passes, taking my time to work out how best to navigate my upper lip and chin with a still unfamiliar and sharp instrument led to a fine, smooth result. Result!

Head shave
Chubby 1.5 finest badger, Ever ready 1912 razor, Pre de Provence shave soap and L'Oréal 24 hour hydrating balm. Lather was a bit thin with the soap, maybe I did not bloom it enough or I did not spend enough time building the lather. Normally get great lather with this soap with little effort. Thankfully the 1912 with the gem stainless blade is a mild razor (for me) and thus had zero irritation.42010
