SuperMax Aftershave

Hi Everyone,
I bought this aftershave from the local Savers. It was under £5 and I thought I better give it a try. It is the Ocean Fresh version(I guess it is the only version available) with allontoin and vitamin E.
It is a 100ml splash in a clear glass bottle, the bottle and the lid is good quality for the price, obviously from the name it has an Oceanic/Aquatic fresh scent and light blue in colour. The scent is pleasant if you like that kind of notes and it is not overpowering and strong.
The feel/texture is a bit like Nivea Two-phase or Cella kind of aftershave, the oily/slippery ingredient covers your skin and leaves it glossy for a while just like the 2 phase Nivea. It is not just a full on alcohol based splash.
It is more suitable for the warmer time of the year due to cooling effect(contains menthol) and this type of scent always reminds me summer.
Does it worth buying? My opinion; to this price yes, it is not a bad aftershave but not special. I usually shave before I go to bed so I find it pointless to use an expensive aftershave so this one will be used like that.

I noticed SuperMax labled juices on shelves in a Sofia chemist few months back.

There was a musk version plus some other flavours. Smelled modern to my shnoze , a bit like the Arko cologne selection so didn't buy, I believe it was about two Euro for a bottle.

I just bought for £2.99.

It fills the proraso classic green sought of area for me. The scent doesn't last long even compared to floid blue/AV ice blue which I was hoping it would be similar to.

Upon using for a few shaves I feel it may even beat out proraso in terms of price for 100 ml bottle (£3 vs £12) I don't think proraso is 3x as good as this.

However considering I can buy the 400ml proraso to drive the price per 100ml down to £4.41 I would then choose proraso.

However I am really glad we have a cheap UK "competitor"!

If you're looking for a cheap UK high street splash, Benjamins Bay Rum & Mentholated are my favourites. Irrespective of price tag they are probably my favourite splash for post shave face feel.
