Hi ,Just used it for the first time and wow what a shave ,Astra blade which I'm sure I'll find better ones but will work through the alphabet lol ,Mitchell's wool fat which I use on all first shaves with new razors ,Feels great with a splash of Pinaud Clubman reserve ,Good buy even at that price and well done Maggards !
I read you liked the Polsilver Lodze so will have to find some ,Alum block all over my face and no irritation at all ,Does this mean the end of razor hunting lol ,I used straights all the time until fingers started stiffening up due to work ,Think it will be more soaps and splashes for a while until I get itchy fingers againEven better to hear.
I find it gives an efficient close shave in a similar manner to an aggressive razor but with a mild feel. A piece of brilliance which is wonderfully made and beautiful to look at.
The 0.68 you bought wins my heart and I did have a 0.95 for a while but to be honest the shave felt exactly the same to me.
My favourite blade in the Timeless is the Polsilver Lodz, but then again it is my reach for blade with any DE.

I know I haven't. Astras are second to none for me, only vintage Gillette Blues ever came close.
