Used Blades Lifetime Wall Slot

"Years ago, medicine cabinets would have a slot cut in the back of them for used razor blades. You'd knock a hole in your wall, install your medicine cabinet over top it, and drop blades into your walls for years and years. This is a simple, efficient solution to the sometimes annoying problem of safe disposal of old blades. "

Buy it from Maggard here!

A family member got a bit of a surprise when, as he was renovating an old house, he came across hundreds of well rusted carbon steel blades inside an internal wall. He was wondering how they'd got there, and I was able to tell him about the old slot in the wall disposal method.

Wonder if anyone does that today...?

Happy I'm not in the demition business and not sure Mrs Satanfriendly would be too enamoured if I started knocking holes in walls for spent blades.

My plastic box will suffice for the moment.
