What made your day a crap one??

Sorry for this rant guy, I have to vent some!

So 2 months ago my crown broke during a holiday.

After I came back the dentist made a new one and fitted it, but it started to hurt, and after 6 weeks I had to have a rote cannal done. Man that night was terrible the pain was not nice (only had paracetamol and naproxen and that did not work so good) so no sleep that night. Now we are 1 week further and still when I eat my bottom left hurts, and I have been getting headaches straight (from the tooth ache) for 6 weeks already now yesterday he made my left insicor a little longer said that I could slide my bottom jaw easier to the left.

This morning I had my oats so no pressure there and it did not hurt much, lunch I had a soft sandwich(no hard crust) and intentially chewed on the left (been eating on the right side for almost 2 months) and then the lingering dull pain was back.

Now almost 2 hours after eating it is gone again, but I know when I start eating it will be back

So I have a new appointment with my dentist on Thursday morning hopefully he can sort something out for me for the weekend.

And I hope this will subside soon

Rant out
I feel your pain! I hope you can get it sorted out soon. It is good you can still have your oats in the morning with no pain! :)

Had to go with next door neighbour and one of her cats to the vet yesterday to have Mr Ginger ( the cat ) put to sleep. He was a feral cat she and her husband started to care for about 16 years ago. He fell in love with our former deaf bull terrier Mika and spent a lot of his life sleeping on our kitchen window sill. So I used to feed and medicate him. Since he wouldn't let anyone else touch him I got to be holding him in my arms when he went. Sad to see the old warrior go, but kinda touched by his friendship to the end.

oke the dentist told me there could me 3 things wrong

1 still a pain from the root canal, that will gradually pass

2 the root was not cleaned all the way,and there is still a infection there, in that case I need to see a specialist

3 a crack in the molar, he could not see one but said it was a possibility

So he said because I am not going thru the roof with the pain( it is a dull lingering pain, which flairs up when eating) he said to keep e look at it for the coming weeks and if its option 1 then I will be fine in a couple of days. If it is getting worse or staying the same in a few weeks then it must be option 2 or 3 and he will sent me to the specialist for root canals.

Aaargh this is not the news I wanted to hear, hope it is option 1 and it will mellow out in the following days.

Crap day on Monday, had to have my cat put down :( 13 year old Maine coon who had a bit of a coronary last August and managed to survive it till Monday...

My 21 year old daughter wants to buy a£17,995 Audi A3! Apparently everyone gets finance these days.
She does not think that a £17,995 finance deal £257 a month is a debt!
She isn't wrong.

Where I work we have people barely earning £18k driving A class Mercs and 1 series BMW's.

They think nothing of £220+ monthly payments on and £1800 car insurance.

This is on top of the latest iPhone at £50/month and rent. How they afford to feed themselves is beyond me.

Guess it's a generation thing Steve. I went through this a few decades ago with my neices. They all somehow remained solvent and thrived ( no idea how ) and it seems their merry laughter at my fears was justified. Just don't redecorate that bedroom whivh was to be your study if/when she moves out !

Got a 'phone call this morning to say an 87 year old friend has passed away, just as his wife is preparing to go into hospital for a hip replacement. Gave her a ring to offer condolences, took the dog out for a wee quiet thought about bygone days, met a man I often meet when we're walking our dogs for him to tell me he found his wife, who has been suffering from vascular dementia, dead in the bathroom. After a time with him I've returned home not feeling quite so cheerful. Tell someone close you appreciate them today !

(Yesterday); Found out that our brave little dog has ‘wobbly knees'. Her ligaments holding the patella are marginally loose which is giving her some inflammation and pain. Restricted walks and painkillers this week then discussions about surgery vs physio to ensue. You'd think there's absolutely nothing wrong with her either, the little trooper!

Absolute bugger Benz, had a bulldog with patella luxation ( & other probs ) once, so you've got my sympathy. Your girl's condition does seem to be one which often responds well to surgery followed by enforced rest after the op, however you and the staff at the clinic will be able to discuss all options before any decisions. I really hope you get a succesful outcome, please keep us updated m8.

Thanks Johnny. Means a lot! It's strange though as it's only presented itself a handful of times but anything more than thrice and we said let's get her checked out. It sounds as though surgery is best way to go and enforced rest would be a must considering it's affecting both knees currently (right more than left). I'll, of course, keep y'all posted! Could be a tough couple of months towards the end of the year but ultimately the decision lies with what's best for little Daisy! :)
