Coming home to an empty house after a very long day at work. My wife is away with her parents but it becomes obvious my granddaughter have visited.

Just how damn sweet is this to meet you?

My youngest granddaughter has recently started nursery and apparently today the teacher called her Tippi ( her elder sister) instead of Zuzu .

After a 6 month break due to COVID, finally passed my cricket coaching qualification with the County Board.

Yesterday was the first time I have held my granddaughters hands since March when I took them to school.

I really had forgotten what a most wonderful simple pleasure and it really set me up for the day.

Lucky enough to live 5 minutes from the local woods. Had a lovely walk with my wife and kids. Not a soul around. The mist was clinging to the hillside, and the fallen leaves golden.

One side of our TV stopped working last night after the youngest ran in to it. 5 minutes on YouTube showed me how the circuit boards for the screen are located either side of it and connected with temperamental ribbon cable.

Confident I could fix it, I walked over to the TV and bitch slapped the problem side. Fixed it! Walked away looking cool whilst my wife looked at me in awe. Needless to say I was amazed myself behind that cool exterior

Control boards for the engine controls. Not that easy as they come from Japan and could be a few weeks. Just means a different boat for me the next time.

But finish on a Wednesday is better than a Thursday
