7 o clock were a brand, I believe, that made razors/heads very similar to the Gillette New OC - Gillette bought them out and continued with the name. I have one of these too. great razor

First shave with it today. Very smooth.
Not as close as my Timeless or Karve, but very nice to use.
It's light, and feels like a toy!
Better shave than my Tech's too.
I might keep this one.

Almost as good as an OLD.

Unless you've got an aluminum handle, that's a solid brass Tech handle, which is fairly heavy compared to many vintage razors. I don't think that's the correct handle for that razor.

This is the handle normally found on those.

No prob's.
I have only used the razor once but it was a very nice shave.
I have had a Gillette NEW LC but didn't like it all that much.
It was replated (Nickel), and looked great. I couldn't get used to it though.
Never felt as smooth as my NEW SC, so I sold it.

The 7-o-Clock base is a different thing all together.
Looks similar to a NEW LC, but smoother.
Be nice if someone would make these again, maybe in stainless steel, then I wouldn't have needed to buy my Karve (oh, and also ordered a Wolfman).
