Hi everyone I have been away for a bit, so based on everyone's advice! Sick and tired of my razor still!
I purchased some Edwin something shaving soap. I placed the badger brush in hot water. Wash my face etc held a hot flannel on my beard. Lather all over so it's not too watery but quite thick. Had a look at my razor gave it a thorough clean OCD standard. Checked the blade for any manufacturing problems like marks or a dented blade.
Guess what I might as well have had a wax it ripped my stubble and when I am saving it does not slice through it kind of judders!
High expectations to failure! Back to Bic disposables this weekend
Can anyone recommend a good double edged safety razor ? Do you get better quality of the more you spend?

Shouldn't judder if you're riding the top cap, would just glide over without cutting. Could be too steep thoughLather is way too thick, else blade angle is wrong, e.g. you are riding the top cap.
