SE the way to go
the 6c handle is noticeably heavier than the aluminium Hawk handle
How are you getting on with the new SE?
Really enjoying it. The Claymore is a beast, in a good way!
It came with Feather blades so I'm currently using one of those with it. At times it's so smooth it feels like there's no blade, or I've got the angle wrong, but the stubble just disappears.
I will change over to a Schick blade soon to see how that feels.
But over the moon with it. I'm glad I've given SEs a go. I keep using my DE every so often but I'm enjoying SE more at the moment. [emoji1303]
I’m waiting with baited breath.....the price may be interesting.I know that I do not need one, but I hope to get an ES Claymore V3 which is currently being trialled and hopefully will be on sale in MAY 2021. I have the V1 which is a real heavyweight but I enjoy getting good Shaves with it.
Sub-£100 by the looks off it :I’m waiting with baited breath.....the price may be interesting.
V2.999That's strange. I have something that was supposedly the Claymore V3. I've had it a year or two, bought secondhand. I think there were only a few made.
It's very very aggressive. Too much for me.
If they release something else called the V3, I wonder what that makes mine...
I think that he had difficulty finding someone who could consistently manufacture a quality razor at the right price. It's probably just been put on hold for a whileThat's strange. I absolutely will not be buying this new SE. Or, more realistically, I might hold off pulling the trigger for two minutes.
I hope it is quite aggressive. I think the Colonial General and Blackhawk Vector are great razors, but sometimes fancy using something with a bit more bite than they provide.
