Please, please, please! No more 'must have' razors . My rotation list is already way too big.
When mine arrives I'll start the hype…whether I like it or not.

I could not care lees for the fine sh*te
I must admit to feeling reticent to post my thoughts on the Marvel or anything for that matter but (that's) by the by. As I'm sure you will see from the following effort I've found it hard to summarise the Marvel.
My initial impressions mirror @Ferry-shave initial impressions. My first shave was outstanding and I do mean very, very good. The following shaves were a mixed bag. I did try a few different blades and found the Astra to be the best match.
The first shave was very smooth and initially I thought the razor was very efficient and comfortable. However with the following shaves were uncomfortable with some tenderness and even a rash on one shave. I believe this was me subconsciously using too much pressure and overcompensating for my poor technique plus I wasn't used to the razor.
After 5 or 6 shaves I decided the Marvel wasn't for me. I could have stuck with it but frankly (Mr Shankly) I just wanted to use the other razors I already own. I've since traded it for some soaps as I was about to run out.
Not the best ‘review' but it's the best I can muster.
Cheers
Rob
@Blackmass Hi Rob, hope all is good - I am with you - I think no pressure is key with the Marvel and good preperation. The Cade shaving cream always gives me excellent protection; perhaps that is part of the equasion?
All the best,
Chris
I'm good thank you Chris.
I'm relieved you like it. After my gushing recommendation after only one shave I was worried it wouldn't be for you. Hence my lack of a response to this thread.
There isn't much blade feel and I think this may have been my downfall. Although I wouldn't say it's aggressive razor I think the lack of blade feel makes it a deceptive shaver for sure. I'm sure I would get used to it but to be honest I couldn't be arsed.
